INTRO & UPDATES
Good afternoon, everyone - Before we present the new deal below, a few housekeeping items:
We’ve closed the Seed+ round for the confidential LegalTech deal we’ve been working on. Big thank you to everyone involved. For the investors in that deal, we’ll have an update for you before the end of May.
Final call for Paradromics: I thought this one was absolutely fascinating. Please let me know if you would like to invest before the end of the week.
As always, I’d like to remind you to keep the contents of these emails strictly confidential. Please do not contact the company or affiliated parties as these emails are not meant to be shared with anyone outside of this list. Anyone found doing so will be removed.

DEAL TL;DR
Allen Control Systems builds the world's first fully autonomous counter-drone gun.
The flagship product, Bullfrog, is a 165 kg AI-controlled robotic weapon station that mounts any standard-issue military machine gun.
Bullfrog is roughly 300x more accurate than the legacy remote weapon stations bolted onto every American combat vehicle today.
The U.S. burned roughly $4 billion in interceptors in the first two weeks of Operation Epic Fury defeating Iranian Shahed drones that cost $35K apiece. Bullfrog defeats the same drones for ~$10 per kill.
The company is raising an oversubscribed $200M Series B led by a leading technology focused VC with participation from numerous strategic and corporate defense investors.
The round is well oversubscribed but we have a limited allocation to the round - closing May 15th. Allocations will be prioritized to previous ACS investors and the rest on a first come, first serve basis.

FULL RUNDOWN
Executive Summary
Allen Control Systems builds the world's first fully autonomous counter-drone gun. The flagship product, Bullfrog, is a 165 kg AI-controlled robotic weapon station that mounts any standard-issue military machine gun (M240, M2, M134, M230) and runs the entire kill chain end-to-end: detect the drone, identify it as hostile, track it through the sky, and put a single $0.50 bullet through it at up to 1,500 meters. Bullfrog is roughly 300x more accurate than the legacy remote weapon stations bolted onto every American combat vehicle today (0.1 MOA versus ~30 MOA), which is why a single round does the job that previously required a $4M Patriot interceptor. The U.S. burned roughly $4 billion in interceptors in the first two weeks of Operation Epic Fury defeating Iranian Shahed drones that cost $35K apiece. Bullfrog defeats the same drones for ~$10 per kill.
SEARCHCAM
Bullfrog ships with SearchCam, a passive electro-optical sensor that detects Group 3 drones at >2.2 km with zero radar or RF signature (the exact emissions Iran has been using to geolocate and destroy U.S. THAAD radars at ~$500M apiece), and an optical IFF layer that runs a cryptographic friend-or-foe handshake in under 200 milliseconds before authorizing engagement. The system fires ammunition the U.S. military stockpiles by the billions, mounts on vehicles it already owns, and runs entirely on-platform with no external dependencies.
A UNIQUE SOLUTION

Bullfrog is also the only autonomous C-UAS platform on the market that can engage non-kinetically.
Modern drone warfare is sensor warfare. If a drone cannot see, it cannot navigate, target, or report, and the operator's kill chain breaks before any bullet is fired.
ACS' Stingray laser dazzler attacks the drone's eyes instead of its airframe, saturating the electro-optical sensor at 5 km and permanently burning out the focal plane at 3 km (short Innovation Lab video here).
This matters because the rules of engagement on most real-world C-UAS missions (border security, base defense, VIP protection, World Cup 2026, urban operations) prohibit firing live rounds in populated areas. Every radar-and-missile architecture in the field today is binary: jam or destroy.
Bullfrog gives the operator a third option, neutralize without firing, on the same sensors, same software, and same platform. DISCO (1-2 kJ pulsed laser, 5 km+, in development under the $3M NSW Anchor OTA) extends this non-kinetic capability into hard-kill at standoff range with an effectively unlimited magazine.
Nothing else in the category does this today.
PIPELINE
ACS shipped its very first Bullfrog in March 2026 and already expects to generate mid-9 figures of revenue this year and conservatively low 10 figures of revenue in 2027.
Today the company has active contracts with 6 countries.
The company has an active long term pipeline worth nearly $20 billion.
The company expects to be profitable this year.
LEADERSHIP
ACS was founded by CEO Mike Wior, president steve simoni and, CTO Luke Allen. Simoni and Allen are former U.S. Navy nuclear engineers who met in the service. Both were instrumentation and control systems engineers for Navy nuclear reactors and have backgrounds that span robotics, computer vision, machine learning, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science.
After serving in the Navy, Simoni and Allen founded Bbot, a software and robotics restaurant technology startup, where they met Mike Wior, CEO and co-founder of Omnivore, a restaurant POS transaction system. Simoni and Allen’s company was acquired by DoorDash in 2022, and Wior’s company was acquired by Olo in the same year.
They created ACS in recognition that the battlefield has evolved rapidly to include machine-warfare threats. ACS is building autonomous weapon systems with a focus on counter unmanned systems for this new era of drone warfare and to completely change battlefield economics.
ENGINEERING TEAM
ACS's engineering team consists of skilled engineers from industry and leading technical universities, specializing in mechanical, hardware, and software engineering.
Led by our SVP of Engineering, Aric Schorr, they are rapidly developing affordable, low-SWaP solutions.
These technologies provide advanced CUxS full kill-chain capabilities to effectively neutralize the growing threats posed by unmanned systems.
GROWTH TEAM
With over 60 years of combined service in the Special Operations and Intelligence communities, ACS’ Capture team brings a unique understanding of the threat landscape and the operational demands of our Nation’s warfighters.
The team also brings years of sales and DoD procurement expertise, along with a deep knowledge of the counter drone market that uniquely postures ACS to rapidly scale to meet the needs of the U.S. and its partners.
